Visual narrative
with Mariana Rio
Online workshop (Zoom)
September 6th and 10th, 2021 (Monday and Friday),
19.00 – 21.00, Moscow time
How do you tell a graphic storie to grab the viewer's attention? What are the key components of visual storytelling? How to find new original ideas for creating narrative projects? You will find answers to these questions together with Mariana Rio, illustrator from Portugal. The illustrator will share effective techniques and professional experience gained over many years of working with various projects in communication design, book and magazine illustration.
Effective story is authentic, but we often think of authenticity as something that needs to be real. However, it does not mean that something has to be literal in visual storytelling. Authentic means connecting with your audience.

The online workshop will be a Zoom conference in English with consecutive interpreting into Russian.
